Rich in history and tradition, New Orleans is a unique symbol of Southern culture that is known for elaborate Mardi Gras celebrations, incredible food, and lively, nightly partying. Influenced by the French during earlier years and through the Civil War, the residents adapted the use of chicory in their coffee as a way to stretch their coffee rations. Surprisingly, the ground chicory root added body and subtle chocolate flavor.

We combine Colombian coffee with dark French Roast and add a pinch of chicory to create our New Orleans Chicory coffee blend. Medium dark roasted, this heavily-bodied brew is true to the New Orleans tradition!
